The sharing option we are use to in workflowy is so convienient where you can share specific item in the list. it makes the item stay integrated in your list.
In your sharing option (only a full document) it makes the item only a link. and we can’t add sub items on it directly in the list which really lose the power of this “nested documents” app style in my opinion. would really love to see that change.
