Searching text renumbers list items

Steps to reproduce

When using the “search in doc” function on a page with a numbered list causes the list to renumber with the results.

Expected result

I would expect the numbered items to keep their original list number

Actual result

Numbers are changed based on results

Environment

Using windows 10 with Chrome version 78.0.3904.108

It is related, yes. The reason is that we use a way to number items using a browser built-in functionality which doesn’t consider hidden items. We’ll need to take over the numbering ourselves to ensure we’re able to count hidden items.

Any progress on this? For my use (Shakespeare plays) consistent line numbers are essential.
