Pages hangs with the exclude operator "-"

Steps to reproduce

trying to exclude tags on the list makes the page unresponsive. Using chrome and “-#tag” in the search box. the positive search works just fine.

Page becomes unresponsive.

appears to be an issue of too large a page - works now fine for subpages.
