Expected result
What do you expect to see after carrying out the steps above?
a box should pop up helping me to move all this stuff elsewhere
Actual result
Instead of the expected result, what happened?
Nothing. I can’t move the content of a document; I can only move a bullet and its siblings
Workaround
- Make a new bullet
- Move everything I want to move into that bullet
- Move that bullet + siblings
- Delete the now empty document
Document / List Crossover
I understand what’s going on, and maybe it’s intended to work this way, which is why I post here instead of in Bugs, but to me, the moment I’m in the outliner pane, that’s when my document becomes a list, is a list.
Moving bullets to documents and documents to bullets should be a seamless experience.
