Mac App not rendering gendered versions of emojis correctly

Steps to reproduce

Iā€™m using the Mac Dynalist app with the font Calibri. Using macā€™s emoji input, it puts some emojis in as gendered versionsā€¦ For example the  has 2 forms. :man_shrugging: and :woman_shrugging:

Hereā€™s the link to the unicode emoji:
https://unicode.org/emoji/charts/full-emoji-list.html#1f937

However, when I view it through chrome, it gets rendered out correctly.

Expected result

Iā€™d expect the mac app to render it correctly too.

Actual result

but it seems to render it as 2 separate symbols.

Thanks for such a detailed report!
When you viewed through chrome, did you view it on Dynalistā€™s web app? If thatā€™s the case itā€™ll probably get fixed when we update our engine version to a later version of Chromium for the desktop app.

Yep, cool. Iā€™ll be eagerly waiting for the update :raised_hands:
