LaTeX is not struck through in completed items

The title speaks for itself.

It’s mostly an issue when there’s nothing but LaTeX code in an item. That makes it hard to tell what’s going on.

Maybe you can target LaTeX rendering output inside a completed item with some CSS and have a grey line go across it.

This might be tricky to align with the actual strike-through of any surrounding text.

You’re right, this is indeed the trickiest part. The various little elements LaTeX simply don’t align at all. We’ll see what we can do!

Out of curiosity, in what case would you complete an item with LaTeX only?

I was thinking of just a line across a LaTeX block independent of what’s in it, not striking through the LaTeX contents ‘properly.’

I take notes for my math classes in Dynalist

Not sure if that’s possible with CSS (or have you experiemented with it?), but we’ll try.

I meant more like why would you cross out an equation. Is it for marking the equation as “learned” or “studied”?

Looks like it:

Yep
