Android? Try Quick Dynalist.
Here are the ways I typically add a quick item
- Use the Quick Dynalist widget (not app) icon on my Android phone, type into the popup, tap Add and it disappears into my inbox
- Press the Dynalist Bookmarker icon in my browser while viewing an important GMail message. It sends the email URL in markdown with the subject as the link.
- say “Hey Google add xyz” aloud in my house
- hold the side button on my watch and say “add xyz” aloud
- press cmd-space on my Macbook, type xyz, enter
Generally you send your quick note via an HTTP request using whatever software you prefer that supports HTTP requests, or rig up a scheme where it emails your personal dynalist inbox.
It’d be nice if there was a first party quick-add widget on both iOS and Android but for now we have to be a bit crafty.
