I am going in to rename tags by right clicking in the tag pane
I expect to see a Dynalist right click menu that allows me to rename the tag
Instead I get a browser right click menu, not the Dynalist right click menu
I am using a Macbook Air with MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 and I am running Dynalist in a Chrome Broswer v63.0.3239.132

You mentioned ācanāt rename tags anymoreā, so it used to work for you before? Did something change? Like did you install any new add-ons?
From our end, we didnāt make changes to this recently, and from my brief testing it seems to work.
I see in the screenshot āDEADLINEā seems to be selected, was that automatically selected by the browser?
I can reproduce this, but for me it only happens for tags listed under # All Tags!
It does, however, work like expected for all tags under # Document tags.

Since posting my query I have found the same. A rename tag function across all documents would be handy but I can work within this limitation.

Yeah, thatās whatās happening. Renaming currently only works on document-level tags, sorry about that!

Not yet, sorry.
Although easy to implement for us, renaming potentially thousands occurrences through all your documents is quite risky. The undo/redo model we have right now only works reliably within a document.
I understand the need to rename tags across all, making sure the process is undoable is also an important part. Sorry about the delay!

Coming from Workflowy, which ignored Case. There are many of these duplicated throughout the 838.
Itās honestly made tags pretty redundant in DL (luckily, I hardly used them).
While Iām at it - is there any way to sort alphabetically?
Yes, you can sort them using the A-Z button at the top of the panel:
Most likely these ghosts are hidden by some filter (e.g. hidden because theyāre checked).
Is that the case for you?

Try changing your checked items to āshowā and try again. Like this: Incorrect Tag Counts?

Oh right you are, yes they were hidden. 
I came in here because I was experiencing the same issue, and didnāt understand why the Rename menu wasnāt being shown. If this function is only going to work in Document tags, under All tags it should at least do something useful for feedback. Showing the browser menu in that case is pretty useless and looks broken, perhaps instead it can show a disabled menu that says something like āTag operations are only supported for Document tagsā? That would serve as a reminder for where I as the user am going wrong.
