Custom sorted list view

Hey together,
is it possible to have a view on lists, that is sorted by custom criteria? The original list should stay untouched. Perhaps it is doable with search and bookmark? Havnt found the feature yet.

The closest I can think of is to have perform flat search, set its sort option, and bookmark it. Not sure how close that is to your use case, but I hope it helps!
