What are colour labels / How do you use them?
You will find the details on the Dynalist Blog:
"It’s really simple to use: open the item menu and click on the color you want. Click on the same color to remove it.
Even faster, you can use Ctrl+Shift+1~6 to apply color labels. Ctrl+Shift+` (grave accent) will remove the color"

Yes, good news is that it’s pretty easy to do. Low-hanging fruit that would make things really convenient for you guys! 
Is it planned to update the more option menu to make color label available?
This is implemented now, please see the search tip that pops up when you enter the search box.
