Can't delete checkboxes

Steps to reproduce

Starting from scratch, what are the steps to make the bug happen? The fewer the steps, the better.

  • Make a list into a checklist
  • Put your cursor after a checkbox and hit backspace

Expected result

What do you expect to see after carrying out the steps above?

The checkbox is deleted

Actual result

Instead of the expected result, what happened?

The checkbox is deleted and the item itself is appended to the previous bullet

I think the actual result is expected, since the checkbox isn’t a character.

  • I might one to remove that checkbox (e.g.: the checkbox on the parent item)

  • Compare with Evernote where you can just delete the checkbox
