The Dynalist Addon for Firefox is awesome, but the formatting of the content is lost while using it.
It would be awesome if this could be improved!

TL;DR: I totally understand where you’re coming from, but it’s unfortunately not easy to implement at all 
Unfortunately right now the client app does the copy & paste reformatting, whereas the clipper uses API to send the clipped text to the server. The client then gets the clipped data via syncing. Basically the server has no access to how copy paste works, and copy paste is a very browser-dependent thing, making it hard to replicate the effect on server.

Thank you for the answer. I did not think about the implementation, but I definitely understand that it is hard (maybe impossible) to implement.
I think the conclusion is, that the scope of the clipper is not pasting tons of content to Dynalist. I should use it for small parts of text and links.
