Toggle Notes has no effect on my multilevel document

RE: iPadOS 12.9” Pro Lastest OS. Dynalist 1.4.14

I can Hide/Show sub items in my list with the “+” and “-“ on the right side of my screen next to each item. Yet the Menu item (Right Corner) “Toggle Notes” does not affect the document. Is this a bug?

Do you have notes set to show in Settings too?
Are you in List view (not article)?
Did you try removing the custom CSS if you have any?
