The behaviour of the Archive feature

As far as I’m aware, archiving a document only greys it out, persisting to remain visible.

However, I’ve noticed that archived documents do not appear in any search.

Is this intentional? Is there an option to dis/include archived documents in a search?

It would be amazing to have archived documents hidden from UI - not just tucked into a visible folder - yet optionally available in deep searches, even if they had their own section in the results!

Yes, the primary function of “Archive” is preventing a document from showing up in search.
If you want to hide archived stuff I can write you the Custom CSS for that, but you would need a Pro account to use it.
