Symbols like dot got automatically included into tags

Steps to reproduce

Create new item with tag in it ending with a dot. See attached gif.

Expected result

Tag name should not include special symbols (., etc). Comma and colon

Actual result

Dot included in tag name.

Environment

macOS app v1.1.9.

Will it be fixed? Or is that intended behavior?
