I just got this warning as well!
Please get back to us (I’m sure there are thousands of people who are still avid daily Dynalisters) on whether the necessary support will be in place. Otherwise, I am NOT updating my MacOS aka I need to know which update is going to break it. I currently do use Unite Pro to run a container of the web version, but that is because I often need 2 windows open for my workflows.
I run my entire life and businesses in Dynalist, so it’s a life and death matter for me. While I also love Obsidian and use that for one kind of note taking, writing, archiving, wikis, and knowledge graphs — it really does not hit the spot for me the same way that Dynalist does for quick notes, lists, tasks, and project management. Dynalist is my go-to app for my second brain and despite the lack of support, any alternative has failed to match up (trust me, I tried everything, including 1+ years invested in trying to make Tana work for me). Dynalist just works. It’s simple, it’s lean, it is efficient, effective and elegant. I sure do wish Dynalist got a little more love from the Obsidian team and a world in which cross-linking worked automagically between the two would sure be a beautiful one.
But, at the very least, please make sure I can keep using it. That’s the least I can ask. That’s all, folks.

Just got that msg after upgrading the MacOS
Since we’ve heard nothing at all from Dynalist and this notification from Apple has been repeated for some months, I conclude, sadly, that Dynalist has no plan to make a version for MacOS, once Rosetta is moth-balled. It looks like Dynalist will force Mac users to look elsewhere. Shame.
From Workflowy I came and to Workflowy I shall return, I suppose.

I replied in a different thread but I will be working on a version for apple silicon once we get closer to the new macOS release.

This isn’t exactly the same thing, but all Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 11 (“Big Sur”, from 2020) or later can directly install iOS and iPadOS apps from the Mac App Store. These mobile versions of Dynalist are native to Apple Silicon and, aside from some potential UX adjustments that a dedicated macOS app might have, are fully functional.
