Skip / postpone a repeating task without changing due date

Right now, if I have a task that repeats on the 10th of every month, and I had to postpone it to 16th on a particular month, the due date changes to ‘Monthly on 16th’.

Is there any way to postpone the recurring task such that the due date is not affected?

There is not. Instead, copy the task and change the definition of the copy.

Thanks for the response. I suspected as much. Guess we’ll have to stick with this workaround.
