Steps to reproduce

Public sharing of document via a link prompts “You need Dynalist Pro to perform this action”

Expected result

No prior issues with public sharing via link until today

Actual result

Cannot share document via link unless I upgrade to Dynalist Pro

Environment

Which operating system are you using? Windows, Android, and iPadOS
Which browser are you using? N/A
If you’re using a desktop or mobile app, what’s the version number of Dynalist? Windows 1.5.1 and Android 1.4.2
Are you using any third-party scripts for Dynalist, e.g. PowerPack? No

This has been changed as we’ve been lately abused by spammers using our services to host scams and phishing links. Unfortunately it will now require a pro account to publicly share documents.

And it’s far from the only program abused in this way. Making it a Paid Only feature seems to be the common response. The abuse can lead to blacklisting so it’s something that has to be prevented.
