In TextEdit for Mac, or whatever your favorite text editor is, do a Replace All to replace all Line Break with Paragraph Break
Then the text will all come in as one item.
P.S. You can also script this into BetterTouchTool as a special paste hotkey, using javascript regex, in theory.
