Product discontinued?

My Dynalist works well on my computer, but it crushes all the time on my cell phone (Samsung A50). Clearing cashe or even data does not help. What to do?

Seriously most of communication I come across is uncaring people panicking every year “is it ending?” when no matter where you search/look on official sites (here, discord) they’re trying to react to hoardes of the same questions filling their inboxes. I don’t want to provoke, but respect development takes time and other resources and spamming questions that must’ve been answered for paid service won’t help keeping it alive for longer.

Make/Support/Fund ways that help it function longer. If realistic, find ways to revive/transition it into a next iteration without changing it too much, as every reliable tool has its uses.

Personally I didn’t find an alternative, not even close (out of dozen) (says person who literally tried & sorted thousands of apps on android), that won’t stop me from utilizing it in a way that helps me and others, as long as it’s viable, as long as I keep making it exportable/parsable* if the platform ends (hopefully not)

*existing export (OPML) has more information than you need, create/find parser or make/ai one, to be calmer that it’s at least accessible. (but ofc the dynalist editor is not by far replacable)

The app has been consistently crashing on my phone for at least 2-3 months now. So unusable that I have begun using the chrome browser version, which is also quite slow but at least doesn’t completely crash whenever I try to use it.

I thought it was my phone since my phone had issues, but I just got a new phone and it’s still behaving the same way.

Is there anything that can be done?

I belive this forum is monitored but not very frequently. If I were you I would post it as a new post rather than a reply, as this way it might not get an answer. You can also go on discord or find if there is email or report a bug function in the app. Include details about your OS. The app has always been working smoothly for me.

Hi. I had the same issue. Try to “Archive” some documents in your Dynalist account. It will impact global search as archived documents will not be process until you open them. But at least mobile version will work.
