Steps to reproduce
- Create a new document and add some text on the first line
- On the second line, create a link to the first line (
[[first line]]
) - Click āMenu > Download backupā and open the OPML file for this document
- Copy the entire content of the OPML file, select the entire content of the Dynalist document, and paste
- Click on the link in the second line
Expected result
Clicking the link in the second line navigates me to the first line.
Actual result
No navigation occurs, the link is broken.
Environment
- Windows 10 x64
- Chrome 83.0.4103.61
- Web version of Dynalist
- No third-party Dynalist scripts
Additional information/comments
I was doing this because I wanted to find and replace a string throughout my entire document, and this procedure seemed like the current best solution. Unfortunately, if all of my internal links are broken, then thatās a no-go. Even if find-and-replace were natively supported by Dynalist, though, backups are still much less valuable if important information is lost in the process of creating the backup, and Iād consider intra-document references to be important information.
