In a screenplay, scene numbers continue across these acts and sequences.
In Dynalist, when we tick ānumber childrenā, the numbering restarts for each of the siblings.
With a feature ānumber grandchildrenā, numbering would continue across the children, and each grandchild would receive a unique number. Like this:
Act 1
Sequence 1
Scene 1
Scene 2
Scene 3
Sequence 2
Scene 4
Scene 5
Scene 6
Act 2
Sequence 3
Scene 7
Scene 8
