Iām not quite sure what youāre saying, Erica, about āfirst tag being input correctlyā. The first use of the tag above, @Jane, indeed had no punctuation after it, but only a space. But subsequent uses of it now become new tags/mentions, making it difficult to see all instances/uses of @Jane.
It seems like current behavior requires a space after not just the first time, but every time, making uses of peopleās names, projects, tools, etc. seem very unnatural. Is this really by design behavior?
I also donāt understand why some punctuation is properly recognized and doesnāt cause new tags, like , and :, but ) and ? are lumped in with the mention/tag:
