Local view options are not preserved for shared list

Steps to reproduce

  • create a new document
  • add several items to the list and make some items complete (checked off)
  • make document shared and copy shared link
  • login as another user
  • open shared link
  • in"View options" select Checked items->Hide
  • close web page
  • open shared link page again

Expected result

I’d really expect to see checked items hidden.

Actual result

But checked items are visible which is very annoying to everybody I shared links with because they open their to-do lists every day and have to change options.

View options are saved if you share your document to the user by email instead of public link - only then does the user’s account (rather than the anonymous) account gets to save view states and view options.
