Embedding an entire block is an essential feature I need but the only app I can find that does it is Roam, but I much prefer everything else in Dynalist so I’m really hoping there’s a way to achieve that.

No. Dynalist never implemented this feature.
The closest thing is a dynamic link to a node. Type [[ then a few characters of the node you want to dynamically link to. It will create a named link to it. Now, delete everything except the URL alone, then click elsewhere. You will notice the link becomes a always-updating copy of the node. So if you edit the other node, they both update.

Thanks BC. To note, this so called “node update” method will apply for (update) only the first handful of words at the target node. That said, pretty cool.
