This would be useful in some cases where I would actually need to see the images to take a quick glance at the document, while having images collapsed/hidden on others based on how large or pertinent the images may be.
I feel like a couple of of settings could be set as per-document, and pro users could have their own provided in a window containing all of them, sort of like the manage sharing window.
