You need to help us! People have been wishing to paste multiple paragraphs as single items but it never happens. Tell us in more detail what tools you are using that gives you a single item.
I think I figured it out. My Samsung keyboard has a feature that enables me to paste quickly.
If I click that button, I paste it as a single item. However, if I paste any other way, I paste it as multiple items. Hope this helps?

I have no idea why. But I just found out that either using that button or using my clipboard to paste brings out the same results. Meanwhile, if I press long on the dynalist to paste, it’s pasted as multiple items. So if I use my Samsung keyboard to paste, single item. If I use dynalist to paste, multiple items.
