If you āCopy Linkā and paste the link to a different document, itād be awesome if we could enable a setting so that the link is bi-directional.
For example:
āCopy Linkā in Document A
Paste into Document B
Go back to Document A
A link to Document B automatically created.

Yes, we definitely see the innovatorās dilemma here.
Dynalist had [[ links before Roam Research started (we introduced it in April 2016), and we had always wanted to go deeper in that direction. But like you pointed out, if we want to introduce it now, it has to be non-disruptive to current Dynalist users. Weāre well aware not all Dynalist users need it.
Right now our consideration is to make the bottom āreferencesā area only show when you turn on an option, plus providing a convenience utilitā¦

I donāt fully understand. Suppose now you Paste into document C. Is it now a tri-directional link? Does clicking in A take you to B? Then how do you get to document C?
