It seems like the Chrome manifest v3 requirement has finally hit. Unfortunately I don’t think we have time to update the extension at the moment, so you’ll either have to use a different browser, or use a temporary chrome flag to allow manifest v2 extensions: https://www.reddit.com/r/chrome/comments/1dln9ev/tutorial_extend_manifest_v2/
@Shida the workarounds ceased to work. What are the plans regarding the v3 manifest update?
Currently no plans, I will ask Erica (who wrote the extension in the first place) again, but I believe Firefox still allows manifest v2. I’ve personally switched to Firefox to use the full ublock origin on manifest v2, which is superior to the manifest v3 crippled ubo lite.
