Download Page (For mac) confusing

Steps to reproduce

See the image below:

This seems to be confusing as it says Get Dynalist for MacOS, then says the Windows(beta) to download. Then also available for Windows and Linux.

Expected result

Expect that the ā€œGet our app for Mac OS (beta) to work offlineā€¦ā€

Environment

Chrome on MacOS.

Yes, thatā€™s a string we forgot to replace. Thanks for catching it, @butlermatt!

I just happened to be doing a fresh install of everything on a new computer.
Itā€™s been a long day haha.

It really is, itā€™s just that youā€™re not connecting any USB C devices to it. For instance Apple is selling monitors that connect via USB C. They will display upto 5K resolution and at the same time provide power back to the Mac so it doesnā€™t need a separate charger (plus also acts as a 3 port USB C hub)

Plus a 4 in 1 adaptor that does HDMI, VGA, Ethernet and USB A. Itā€™s just getting all the other devices to USB C. So far my phone and PC and Mac

Built for the Pixel by Google, obviously.

So we just fixed the OS name (yet to be released) but it doesnā€™t seem relevant to the thread any moreā€¦ :stuck_out_tongue:

In any case, I hope no Mac users get offended by this mistake in the future

Haha yeah Iā€™m not sure what happened there. But itā€™s good, I know even as an experienced computer user I did a bit of a double take when I went to download the Mac version and it was showing windows. Took a little highlighting link to realize it was a mac dmg

Should be fixed now. Any Mac user can confirm?
