Download Backup from Dynalist Windows App fails

Performing a “Download Backup” from the ‘hamburger’ icon in Windows Dynalist brings up the “Download Backup” dialog box with the “Download Backup” button, but clicking it brings up a browser with a web page that says “not signed in” in tiny text.

If I manually log into dynalist using the web browser version, then close the browser, then re-attempt the “download backup” from the windows app, the backup will then proceed.

It seems as though the option to login (which shouldn’t be necessary since I’m already running the Windows App), if it needs to be presented, should be done from the windows app and then the backup conducted without having to involve a browser. Otherwise the option in the windows app shouldn’t really exist and should just say “Please use the web version for Backups”…?
