Created / Edited dates on bullet point hover

When using Dynalist on the Web, when I hover over any bullet it gives me the “created at” and “last edited at” data. This is very useful.

However on the Windows app it provides only the “last edited” data.

Note: The Windows app will show “created at” for any new bullets I create during that “session”. But if I close the app and reopen it, the “created at” is no longer there, and only the “last edited at” appears.

Looking into this… Sorry it got lost in my list!

I’ve repro’d the issue and issued a patch for it. This should be fixed in the next version of the desktop app (1.0.39). Once that version is deployed, you might need to clear the local data to have dynalist re-sync all the created dates down.

Once we release version 1.0.39, here’s how to clear local data:

  • Make sure Dynalist is fully synced and you have no offline changes that hasn’t been synced to Dynalist’s servers.
  • Close the desktop app.
  • Delete the folder at “%appdata%\Dynalist\dynalist\data”.
  • Start the desktop app and let it sync.

We’ll post an announcement when 1.0.39 is released with the fix, stay tuned!
