Could Dynalist add Proxy function?

Today I found my App in Windows could not sync.
I checked the log, show as follow:

[Updater] Checking for updates…
[Updater] https://dynalist.io/standalone/check?platform=win
[Updater] Failed to apply updates. { Error: write EPROTO 28712:error:14094419:SSL routines:ssl3_read_bytes:tlsv1 alert access denied:c:\projects\electron\vendor\node\deps\openssl\openssl\ssl\record\rec_layer_s3.c:1407:SSL alert number 49
at WriteWrap.afterWrite [as oncomplete] (net.js:833:14) errno: ‘EPROTO’, code: ‘EPROTO’, syscall: ‘write’ }
[Updater] Done checking for updates.

Then I change my network, it became normal.
So I realize the network of my company is denied the app.
Could Dynalist add Proxy function? Thanks.

When I unchecked the item in the IE>Internet Options>Connections>LAN settings>Automatically detect settings, the app return to normal…
I don’t know why, but it works.

That’s not how proxies work. You add the VPN to your device, then all your apps go thru it. It’s not something individual apps add. Look into NordVPN or something. Or directly ask your company why they would block dynalist.

Edit: Ah I misunderstood. Glad u fixed it. Yeah, Windows is like that, IE LAN settings control the whole internet connection.

Glad it’s fixed!

As @BigChungus said, unfortunately I think it’s out of our control :frowning:
