Is there a shortcut or command to convert item to note and vice versa?

I think you mean:

  1. Ctrl A
  2. Ctrl X
  3. SHIFT Enter
  4. Ctrl V

Found an incredibly useful command recently which I thought I’d share here:

  • Create an item that contains an item and the content you want as a note. For example, “My journal entry Today I went shopping”
  • Select a portion of the item that you want to turn into a note e.g. “I went shopping”
  • Hit SHIFT+ENTER

Et voila! As long as the item doesn’t already have a note, the highlighted text will be moved from the item into the notes section

I found this really useful when I decided to move all my item hashtags/labels into the notes field.
