Steps to reproduce

Starting from scratch, what are the steps to make the bug happen? The fewer the steps, the better.

  1. Start typing a bullet or note

  2. Press CTRL + B to bold

  3. Type text to be bolded

  4. Press CTRL + B to end bolding

Expected result

What do you expect to see after carrying out the steps above?

Expected output would be * * WORD TO BE BOLDED * *

Actual result

Instead of the expected result, what happened?

Actual output: WORD TO BE BOLDED * * * *

Thanks for this bit of information, helps a lot!

As we said in our latest weekly update (http://blog.dynalist.io/2017-week-2-update/), we extensively refactored selection related code, which is the likely cause of this.
