It would be great if there was a toggle button to turn on or off a default checkbox on all new items. Pretty much everything I put into dynalist is an action item that I will check off as complete at some point so it would save me time if I didn’t have to add the checkbox on after every new item I add. If you want every item in an outline to be a checkbox, I recommend making your top-level title node a checkbox. (Either click the option menu for the title node and choose “make checklist”, or select the title node and type ctrl-shift-c.)
Now your entire outline will be a checklist, and new items will automatically get a checkbox.
