Unindent on a Chromebook deletes the entry

Shift + tab deletes all the text in a single bullet point.

Expected result

The text unindented.

Actual result

Instead of the expected result, what happened?
The text deleted, with the line underneath moved up in its place.

I think it just got moved to below all its children, as the next sibling of its parent.
