Unable to sync in the Dynalist desktop application for Windows

Steps to reproduce

Starting from scratch, what are the steps to make the bug happen? The fewer the steps, the better.

  • Open the application.
  • Start writing.

Expected result

What do you expect to see after carrying out the steps above?

The status bar should change from saved to syncing or synced.

Actual result

Instead of the expected result, what happened?

It permanently shows ‘saved’.

Windows 10 Home x64

Which browser are you using?

Not in the browser.

Dynalist for Windows

Are you using any third-party scripts for Dynalist, e.g. PowerPack?

The android app and the web are working just fine. They sync ok. The problem is the desktop application where I cannot see anything I create in the other two.

Additional comments

Is it the first time you run it after installing? Please restart to update it if you haven’t already. If you check main menu (menu icon at the top right corner) - About it should say 1.4.4.

Otherwise, are you behind any firewall on your computer?

Thanks for your reply. The desktop application is working for me again. I believe it had something to do with my internet connection.
