Pressing ENTER to create new line (with search on) creates a new entry in the wrong place

Steps to reproduce

  • Open a Dynalist document
  • Perform a search that results in at least one node with children (if that node is not the first child of its parent or the first node of the document)
  • Expand a node with children and click on the end of the line to edit it
  • Press enter

Expected result

The new line should be inserted in the line below the parent node, right above its first child.

Actual result

Instead, the new line is inserted after the last child of the node, and unindented.

Environment

macOS Sierra 10.12.6
Google Chrome 71.0.3578.98

Additional information

This bug only happens if a search was performed and if the node below which the new line is to be inserted is not the first child of its parent or the first node of its document.

Additional comments

This behavior bug disrupts my workflow in a rather strong way, and I believe it does the same to several other users, so I kindly ask for the Dynalist team to prioritize it on next releases.

Thanks for the detailed explanation!

I’ve successfully reproduced this bug.
This baby is going straight on our to-fix list.
