Numbers in numbered lists cover list content after 1000 items

Steps to reproduce

Starting from scratch, what are the steps to make the bug happen? The fewer the steps, the better.

Paste over 1000 lines of content under a heading and choose ‘Number children’

Expected result

What do you expect to see after carrying out the steps above?

Numbers align right and stay flush with content and don’t cover list item content

Actual result

Instead of the expected result, what happened?

Numbers over 1000 cover the beginning of the content.

Environment

Which operating system are you using? Which browser are you using? If you’re using a desktop or mobile app, what’s the version number of Dynalist?

Windows 10 on Firefox

Sorry, I noticed this problem while implementing it, but couldn’t think of a good solution, unfortunately.

If it stays like this, it’ll overlap with the text. But if it aligns to the right, it’ll overlap with the icons on hover…

Yeah, not an easy one.

Not knowing how dynalist lists work, just a thought: have the numbers inside a container that expands to the right only and pushes the line content to the right as the numbers add digits?

That way the text won’t align when the number of digits changes, right? We’d rather not let that happen :frowning:
