Increasingly hard to select items on Android app

I am finding it increasingly hard to select items for editing other other modifications. The app will try to either zoom in, ope (if a link) or fold/unfolcunfold. Anything but select.

I have tried single tapping, double tapping, holding down, … on the left, center, right …

Nothing seems to consistently just select an item for editing

What device, a phone? I use Quick Dynalist on my Android phone if you want to give that a try. I use the official app on iPad tho, but I use a pencil with scribble turned on.

Do you have custom CSS because that will make it worse or better depending on the code (because it moves the element tap boxes)
