Global search reverts to previous search term after new one entered (Android)

Steps to reproduce

  1. On Android, perform a global search for some query (e.g. “Hello world”). Hit enter on the keyboard.
  2. Modify the query (e.g. “Hello world foo bar”). Hit enter.

Expected result

The new query is searched for.

Actual result

The search field reverts back to the original search query.
