Formatted export has gray tinted background

Starting from scratch, what are the steps to make the bug happen? The fewer the steps, the better.

Paste into Word or Evernote

Expected result

What do you expect to see after carrying out the steps above?
Formatted text only. Dynalist does this properly. However…

Actual result

Instead of the expected result, what happened?
Adds a light gray back behind the lines of text. This is not good. Decorative elements such as background should not be added by Dynalist.

Windows 10 Home, Version 10.0.143393 Build 14393
Which browser are you using?
Google Chrome. Same result on 32-bit and 64-bit. Current version:
Version 58.0.3029.81 (64-bit) - up to date

Hi @Mark_VanOuse, thanks for all the information you provided!

You can solve this by choosing “Merge formatting” when pasting it into Word – the grey background will disappear.

I don’t think there’s anything we can do, as long as we want to maintain our visual style. It’s only happening to formatting text because Word recognizes formatting text and want to import the formatting as well if possible. If you’re pasting plain text, Word won’t try to import any formatting.
