Creating a Document within an Existing Folder

Greetings friends: Is there a way to create a new document in an existing folder? It seems when I have a file open then I click ("+") the document immediately goes to the top. I would like to keep the new document in the current folder. Thanks.

Just right-click on the existing folder and you will see the “New Document” option. Click on it and a new document will be created within the existing folder. And you can also drag and drop any document into an existing folder. Good luck!!
