Can't check an item in Flat Search results

Steps to reproduce

  • Save a search that finds today’s tasks (“is:checklist within:today”) and displays them “flat”
  • Click that bookmark to get a pretty list
  • Do one of the items on the list
  • Tick the checkbox

Expected result

What do you expect to see after carrying out the steps above?

  • The item would be checked (and likely soon disappear from the list as this item is now no longer “checklist”)

Actual result

Instead of the expected result, what happened?

  • Dynalist zoomed into this item. In fact, clicking/tapping anywhere on these items in this view zooms in.

Environment

Which operating system are you using? Which browser are you using? If you’re using a desktop or mobile app, what’s the version number of Dynalist?

Using Firefox 68 on Ubuntu 19.04.

I am experiencing this same behaviour in:

  • Dynalist 1.1.24 on MacOS 10.14.5.
  • Dynalist 1.3.3 on iOS
  • Chrome Version 75.0.3770.142 (Official Build) (64-bit) on MacOS 10.14.5.

When I use one of the bookmarks, I’m expecting to get a list of tasks to be completed, so it is a bit frustrating to have to enter the task, check it off, and then back out again. As @Michael_Ehling noted, I would expect to be able to tick the checkbox directly from the flat search results page.
