When using the tag autocomplete, `Escape` takes you until "visual mode", rather than just leaving autocomplete

Steps to reproduce

Type @ to bring up the tag autocomplete dialog. Hit ESC.

Expected result

Tag autocomplete closes, and your cursor is just after the @ sign. Youā€™re in edit mode; if you type, the typing appears.

Actual result

Your cursor is where you expect, but you donā€™t see it because youā€™ve entered ā€œvisual modeā€. You have to hit ESC another time to start editing.

Environment

Windows 10 app

Additional information

This is inconsistent with the date picker, which leaves you in edit mode when you ESC out of it.
