Problem with PNG-images in shared docs

Uploaded PNG-files show up in desktop & browser version of dynalist. Opening the document via a shared link. There is only the file name instead of the image. Mouse over shows a message: "Aw, snap! The image failed to load."
I am using dynalist (among other things) for instructions with screenshots for helpers in our nonprofit organisation.
What’s wrong???

Sounds like you haven’t relaxed your uploaded file permission, so others can’t see it.

Please see the “Who can see the files I uploaded?” section here: https://help.dynalist.io/article/105-is-my-data-private, it should help.

Hi Erica – Thanks for the answer. I wasn’t aware, that this checkbox also applies to showing or not showing image files.

Yes, it applies to all uploaded files. You can upload .pdf or .docx files to Dynalist.
