There’s something irksome about the current toggle implementation of just swapping the icons. It doesn’t feel like what it is… I think a little left/right toggle switch would make it clearer. Could be a lock and unlock and / or red and green for even clearer cues of its status.
I’m also not clear on the reason for having two modes at all? Or at least, not a manual switch. Couldn’t the list just kind of “sleep” into read-only if there’s no input at all after $configurable seconds?
Anyway, figured I’d throw it out there. Small thing, but it’s a fairly frequent interaction in this app so maybe worth a discussion!
