Escape brackets in link title

I like to add the host of a link in brackets at the end of the link title, so I tried to input [Escape character [en.wikipedia.org]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escape_character).

I would like it to display as Escape character [en.wikipedia.org], but it keeps displaying the whole line incl. URL. Tried to escape the brackets with a backslash, but this does not change anything.

Actually, the escaped version does not work “properly” (although nothing breaks)

[\[OSLCCORE-178\] Treatment of unknown properties needs to be reviewed and clarified - OASIS Technical Committees Issue Tracker](https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OSLCCORE-178)

Is rendered as \[OSLCCORE-178\] Treatment of unknown properties needs to be reviewed and clarified - OASIS Technical Committees Issue .

The escape characters are produced by a “Copy Page URL” Firefox extension.
