Checkbox in parent bulletpoint creates checkboxes in children that cannot be removed

Steps to reproduce

Starting from scratch, what are the steps to make the bug happen? The fewer the steps, the better.

  1. In macOS desktop version, create a bullet point with two children.
  2. Make the parent point a checkbox. Now the children will both also have checkboxes
  3. Navigate to a child point and hit the shortcut to remove the child point checkbox.

Expected result

What do you expect to see after carrying out the steps above?
The child checkbox disappears

Actual result

Instead of the expected result, what happened?
The child checkbox remains.

Environment

Which operating system are you using? Which browser are you using? If you’re using a desktop or mobile app, what’s the version number of Dynalist?

macOS desktop version 1.1.9

Additional comments

I’m having the same problem. I want to be able to have checkboxes on some children but not others, but it seems to be all or nothing.

Windows 10, Firefox 64.0.2.

This is by design. I also woukd like an enhancement that allows children not to have checkboxes.
